Cheltenham Day 3 Betting Offers

The bookies’ promotions keep on coming all through the week here at Cheltenham, and today is no exception. Expect to see price boosts for the favourites in the big feature races of the day, as well as plenty of other deals that can be used throughout the festival.

As always, we’ll have a member of our team on hand monitoring each of the bookies to see what offers they come up with. As soon as they’re released, we publish them here immediately. So stay tuned if you want to be the first to know.

Feature Races

Apart from lots of fun and plenty of pints of Guinness, there’s also some top notch horse racing on today! So here’s what to look forward to on St Patrick’s Thursday at Cheltenham.

JLT Novices’ Chase

We’re huge fans of novice steeplechases in general here in the office. It’s great fun trying to pick winners with so little past form to go on. It requires either some inside stable whispers and/or a very keen eye in spotting which horses are likely to improve.

The JLT is one of the best as well, run over 2m 4f and with a generous prize pot of £150,000, it’s one that all trainers take very seriously. There are 17 fences to negotiate for this 5yo+ field, so make sure you’re in your seat in time for the off because this is one you won’t want to miss.

Ryanair Steeple Chase

The Ryanair Chase is the highlight of the Day 3 card, boasting £350,000 in prize money and a superb Grade 1 field. It’s going to be the biggest betting event of the day and you should expect the online bookies to be pushing the boat out in terms of promotions for this one.

Stayers’ Hurdle

Another Grade 1 race, run over 3 miles and with £325,000 on offer. Many racegoers put this on a par with the Ryanair chase as the joint highlight of the day, and you can understand why. Considering the distance involved and the ability of the field, this one often produces some great finishes and keeps spectators on the edge of their seats until the last.
